"Surprisingly good dim sum and other delights are found here. While Napa is a foodie town, Chinese cuisine is typically not on the list of top restaurants. Be that as it may, Empress M, is the only place to go for authentic Chinese food. We came for lunch and ordered dim sum, eggplant, and calamari. It was all very filling. The staff were friendly and attentive. Given that Silverado is a popular road for getting across town, you could easily miss the driveway into the restaurant. They've done a good job of providing a private courtyard for outdoor seating. Inside seating has lots of large round tables for large groups."
